I believe the best interiors do more than look beautiful. They make daily life feel easier, more comfortable, and more connected to the people who live in them.
My process begins with listening. I want to understand how you use your home, what matters most to you, and what you would like your space to feel like. From there, I bring the different elements of a project together—from layouts and materials to lighting, furnishings, and finishing details.
I work closely with clients and the professionals involved in each project to keep the design considered and cohesive as it takes shape. I pay attention to the big decisions, but I also care about the smaller details that make a space feel complete.
For me, good design is personal. It should support the way you live while giving your home a character that feels like your own.
Interior design is one part of Monica’s creative practice. She is also an artist and painter, and that connection to art informs the way she sees and shapes a space.
Working with color, texture, and composition has sharpened her eye for how materials relate to one another and how individual elements can change the feeling of a room. That artistic perspective carries through to the details of her interiors, helping each space feel considered without losing its personality.
For clients who want something especially personal, Monica can create original artwork for their home by request. She also works with emerging artists to help clients discover distinctive pieces that complement their interiors while supporting creative talent.
